Ava Adore

One of the most interesting things to see over time is some ones growth. Artistic growth is something that some battle with and never conquer. Others seem to have a natural thought process that enables them to expand as artists and constantly see things differently. Picasso said "Artistic growth begins at birth and never ceases til death." I find this to be very true. We as artist or painters see things differently. We take every expierence, every change and create ideas and images with the thoughts and the reactions we get from them. Altough we sometimes loose our train of thought, be it for a week or a year.. we never cease to think in artistic terms and think of ideas visually with vivid color, composition and imagery.
Over the past few months I've seen someone on the begining step to her artistic career and development grow imensly. She's driven by her past as well as her present and her future looks ever so bright. I've been around a lot of artist. I was involved in highschool and went to a pretty big art college for my Bachelors. I've never seen someone grow and develop as quick and efficiently as she has in such a short span of time. Although some things are still rusty, overall her imagery and concept development are gaining strength and momentum. While working on one project the next is never far from thought.
The next few months should be really interesting. Some of the ideas we have been throwing back and forth seem over the top. But the drive and excitment is there. Reminds me a lot of some of the stories I've read on Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner in New York in the late 30's and early 40's.

Life is getting interesting again...

Fun on the side

We had a pretty big photoshoot on sunday.. there where about 8-9 girls and alot of space.. lighting was a nightmare but i think i figured it out pretty well. My boy Kiro Fox Ace was the main photographer.. although i took a few shot and helped out on posing he took the majority of the photography on the main set. My job was to light everything.. which i think i did a pretty good job at.
In our down time it seems me and Amliv cant keep but continue shooting and messing around with compositions and ideas. Here are some shots taken while we where on break

enjoy
